Alchemist's Castle for PC game reviews & Metacritic score: Discovering the philosopher's stone turned the wise and kind alchemist into a power hungry, selfish tyrant. A 2D action platformer where the last of an order of cybernetic knights journeys through a castle-like factory that is manufacturing hordes of evil robots. Move: Left Stick. Melee/Retrieve Weapon: X. Throw Weapon/Grapple: Right Bumper. Aim Weapon: Right Stick. Move: W, A, S, D. If the download information is correct on macintoshgarden for Dark Castle, it should run in OS 9. As for how well, I was going to check, but it wants monochrome, which is an obstacle that I will get around to solving eventually. The plan for Dark Castle(and others) is to make official submissions, but this is difficult on the 'original' hardware.
